Lieutenant General (Retd) Richard Nugee CB CVO CBE has earned international recognition for bringing the implications of Climate Change and Sustainability to the Defence and National Security sectors. After an entire career in the British Army, he wrote a Review of Defence’s approach to Climate Change and Sustainability as his final role.
He is the CEO of the Scar Free Foundation, a medical research charity, Chair of the Royal NAAFI Board, strategic advisor to several consultancies and organizations, and a Fellow of the Royal Geographical Society. He is also the Patron, Chair, and Trustee of many organizations, including Invictus Games UK2027, The Soil Stars, and XFE.
