Passionate about financing the transition to sustainable food production systems, Laura Thissen is Venture Partner at Grey Silo Ventures, a first check to Series A investor in international f&a startups. Grey Silo is the corporate VC arm of Cereal Docks, one of the largest privately owned agricultural processing companies in Europe. Previously, as Director of StartLife Wageningen, Laura established the food and agtech startup accelerator, fostering corporate-investor-startup partnerships and building a high-impact, purpose-driven team. A biochemist and economist by training, she serves on the Dutch Research Council’s Selection Committee for spinoff financing and is a judge at MassChallenge Switzerland.
