Dr. Laura Fernández Celemín has been the Director General of the European Food Information Council (EUFIC) since January 2015. She joined EUFIC in 2002 as a Scientific Advisor and has played a key role in the organization’s growth.
Laura holds a Bachelor of Science in Dietetics from Institut Paul Lambin in Brussels, a degree in Human Nutrition, and a PhD in Biomedical Sciences from the Catholic University of Louvain in Belgium.
Under her leadership, EUFIC continues providing engaging, science-based information to inspire and empower healthier, more sustainable food and lifestyle choices.
