Diane Boogaard is Head of Sustainability Wholesale & Rural and Global Head Food System Transition of Rabobank since May 2023. In her new role she aims to strengthen Rabobank’s role in supporting the changes needed in our food systems. Producing sufficient healthy and affordable food within planetary boundaries is a formidable challenge for the sector. The path to net zero requires vision, a global approach and decisive actions based on scientific research.
Rabobank supports the transition with financial solutions, using their deep sector knowledge and long experience in their international network. In her role, she and her team work together on sustainable agricultural solutions with clients and various network parties FAO, WBCSD, UN and WWF.
Previous to this position, she was CEO of Asia, based in Hong Kong and responsible for managing Rabobank’s operations and activities in Asia. She joined Rabobank as global head Trade & Commodity Finance.
Before joining Rabobank, Diane worked in various business and managerial roles within MeesPierson and Fortis Bank.
