As a Mars Science Leadership Team member, Darren Logan leads Corporate Science Discovery, overseeing two key research organizations that drive scientific innovation across all Mars segments and divisions.
He heads the Mars Advanced Research Institute (MARI), which connects Mars with emerging science and technology to spark groundbreaking discoveries in sustainability, health and wellness, and computational science. MARI’s mission is to translate cutting-edge research into real-world impact for Mars, its consumers, and the planet.
Darren also leads the Mars Global Food Safety Center (GFSC), a world-class research hub for advancing food safety. GFSC conducts original, collaborative research and fosters knowledge-sharing, education, and training to enhance food safety across Mars’ business and global supply chains.
