Carolina Villa, Principal at Nucleus Capital, is a scientist turned investor with over 10 years of experience in the food and synthetic biology sectors. At Nucleus Capital, she focuses on programmable biology. She’s an expert in TEAs and scaleups. In 2021, she obtained a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from the Rotterdam School of Management, Erasmus University. Before working at Nucleus, she was a Business Development Manager at StartLife. Carolina also participated in the Newton Venture Program as a Newton Scholar, where they gained knowledge and skills in venture investing.
