Bart Van Hooland is a managing partner at Thia Ventures, where he invests in the intersection of food, biotechnology, and health. He previously co-founded Droia Ventures, a global VC fund focused on oncology. Bart started his career at BCG and combined investment roles with innovation leadership positions, including at GIMV and IWT. He currently serves on the decision board for innovation funding at VLAIO. Alongside Serge Schoen, former CEO of Louis Dreyfus Company, he launched Thia Ventures to drive the biotech-powered transformation of food systems.
